(Noun) 1. From Sanskrit "Men" or "Husbands" pl. an appellation for the Roma people of Northwestern India of Rajput, Jatt, and Kshatriya origin (*not to be confused with Prakrit "doma.")
2. An adjective to describe the Indo-European derived Romany language.
Usage: The child can speak the Romany language.
