(Noun) In the Roman Catholic Church, the process by which bread and wine are completely transformed into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ at the words of consecration said by a Catholic priest.Usage: When the priest said the words of consecration, the bread turned into Christ's Body by the process of transubstantiation.
