(Noun) The raised structure from which the condemned are hanged, beheaded, disemboweled, broken on the wheel, etc.Usage: The scaffold isn't necessary but improves visibility. (Often, old-time executions were PUBLIC spectacles. They sold popcorn sometimes.)
