(Noun) A roof outlooker is a wood joist that extends in cantilever out of the exterior wall, and or supporting beam of a building and are a component of the roof eave, it supports the roof sheathing, and it provides a nailing surface for the fascia boards and, when not exposed it serves to fasten the plywood or wirelath and plaster that are components of the finish of the eave.Usage: The roof outlookers shall be 2 x 6 wood members, and will cantilever
