piñata
Definition
(Noun) In Hispanic countries, a piñata is a papier mache globe filled with candy and/or small toys, festively decorated and suspended from the ceiling, then hit with sticks by sometimes-blindfolded children. When the piñata bursts, it showers the candy-and-whatnot on the celebrating children.Usage: A piñata is - well, think a Hispanic version of "Pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey."
