(Noun) A period of time that occurs after things have remained unsolved. In purgatory it's a place where it is undecided whether you should belong to heaven or hell. It's a fitting definition therefore, for limbo to mean being stuck.

Another usage: Procrastination. Procrastination is the limbo between having completed the work and having not even started.

Limbo is being stuck for a longer period of time.
