Definition
To kiss, as in the last scene of a movie before fade out. See kiss for synonyms. Quote: In the final scene of Paris - When It Sizzles (1964) Gabrielle (Audrey Hepburn) kisses screenwriter Richard Benson (William Holden):
-- Gabrielle: ' I know what's gonna happen next.'
-- Richard: ' You do? '
-- Gabrielle: ' The two enormous and highly paid heads come together for that ultimate and inevitable moment, that final, earth-moving, theater-filling, popcorn-selling... ' (The words kiss and fade-out appear on the screen).
