1. A gallant or chivalrous man; a gentleman.

4. In Britain, especially among schoolboys, an uncircumcised penis as opposed to a roundhead , a circumcised penis. See uncircumcised for synonyms.
5. Obsolete in the sense defined by John Trimble in 5000 Adult Sex Words and Phrases (1966): ' A man of great skill in the courting and seduction of females of high position, particularly those who are married; an upper class Lothario of much charm and manners; a gallant.' In 18 th century Italy, a cavalier servante was the recognized or secret lover of a married woman.
