Definition
(Noun) (Also known as the Ham test) historic test used for the identification of Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). Patients with PNH RBC's will lyse in the acidified serum while normal cells will not.Usage: Hey, Bob's cells lysed in the acidified serum lysis test, that means he has PNH!
