WIIU
Definitions
(Abbreviation) Workers' International Industrial Union(Noun) The Workers International Industrial Union was associated with the Socialist Labor Party. Members of the WIIU believed that workers had to organise both on the industrial and political fields to achieve emanctipation from wage-slavery. The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) took the political clause out of their Preamble in 1908. That's when members who wanted it kept in left, many of whom went on to take part in forming the WIIU.
Usage: The WIIU no longer exists.
