Sparagmos rate
(Verb) Refers to an ancient Dionysian ritual in which either a living animal or human would be sacrificed by being dismembered, ripping the limbs from the body and after committing homophagia.
Usage: The Maenads committed Sparagmos with a bull (in The Bacchae by Euripides)
