Isochromes
Definition
(Noun) a band of colours used in mapping to denote areas of commonality. Eg pollution incidents that happen within an area radiating out of the factory plume line. When I need to spatially indicate pollution emerging from a chimney stack I could colour this red as the plume extends outward and the pollution concentration is lessened the colour bands could become orange ranging through to yellow and eventually white to show no damage.
