Infield Fly Rule rate
(Noun) A rule in the game of baseball; if one or two men are on the first consecutive bases and the batter pops a fly ball so that the ball stays within the boundaries of the infield, the batter is automatically out and the baerunners do not have to advance to prevent the occurance of a double, or even triple, play.
