Cut-edge rate
(Expression) Refering to the steel panel rollforming process, where panels are coated and then cut in lengths. This leads to the metal becoming exposed at the "cut-edge" when they are fixed to a building or structure.
Usage: Colour coated metal panels can become susceptible to cut-edge corrosion.
