Definition
(Noun) This occurs when a organism leaves an imprint in the skeleton of another organism. Sometimes the skeletal organism will grow over the other organism, imprinting the organisms characteristics in it’s skeleton.Usage: While fossil hunting in Arizona, I found a bioimmuration of a gastropod.
