Definition
(Adverb) The opening word of a clause, that in picturesque English may be answered by 'thither'. It is synonymous with "In what place...". It has to be employed with a non-static verb and used to be common parlance. It's alluded to in the Dictionary herein coupled with -go-ye.Usage: Whither is the wind blowing today ? Whither go migrating swallows?
