Definitions
(Noun) A written marital contract between two future spouses in which they state the terms of their marriage, including its limit to a certain number of years instead of a lifetime, and possibly including renewal options.Usage: Given the 50-50 chance of failure in conventional marriages, Engelbert and Ophelia signed a wedlease in which they committed to a marriage for 10 years, with an option to renew for 30 additional years, and an automatic renewal during the minority of any child born of the marriage.
