sneeze
Definitions
(Verb) The act of sneezing. It begins with a slightly painful tickling sensation in the nose, followed by a sharp intake of breath, and a somewhat violent release of breath, saliva, and the contents of the nose. It commonly occurs when the nose is irritated due to air pollutants, allergies, the common cold, a flu, etc. Normally, others respond to a sneeze by saying either "God bless you", "bless you", or a german word, Gazundheit.Usage: When I need to sneeze, I look at a bright light.
An explosive rush of air coming from the mouth and nose in response to a stimulation of the sneeze center of the brain.
Usage: I feel a sneeze coming on.
