Definition

Recent Americanism defined in the following quote from the movie Mallrats (1995) in which Brodie (Jason Lee) suggest that T.S. Quint (Jeremy London) get even with his meddlesome, future father-in-law Mr. Svanning (Michael Rooker) in the following manner:
-- Brodie: ' You should go over there and give him shit.'
-- T.S.: ' You kidding!? I'm trying to marry his daughter.'
-- Brodie: ' All right, so you can't scream at him, but after all he's done to you you should still kinda stick it to him.'
-- T.S.: ' How do you propose I do that? '
-- Brodie: ' You shit-palm him. (...) You take your hand and stick it in your ass, like this. You've been walking all day and you're also nervous and no doubt you'll be sweaty as hell.'
-- T.S.: ' You should see yourself right now. A grown man with his hand down his pants.'
-- Brodie: ' Yah, I probably look like my old man. There, now you shake hands with the guy: Hey, Mr. Svenning, how you've been? '
-- T.S.: ' What's the point? '
-- Brodie: ' Do you know how long it takes for the smell to come off? Scrub all you like it will stick around for at least two days. '(...)
