Definition
(Noun) A dealer or trader, usually of financial market instruments, is 1) someone that make you a price (as different than placing a bid or offer on an exchange), 2. a wholesaler, bulk stock intermediary, like the difference between a grocery store that has the fruit all shined up on the rack, and a wholesaler of fruit is the guy at the warehouse selling to all the grocery stores, i.e., large amounts for the best price. 3. a trader that can make you a live price, but also calls you like an account executive.Usage: As a salestrader at the bank, I routinely dug up the biggest blocks of stock and sold them on to the fund managers in England.
