Definition

Sexual activities using a condom or dental dam to avoid becoming infected with a sexually transmitted disease or HIV-AIDS. Since there is no 100% guaranteed method of protection against pregnancy and/or sexually transmitted diseases, the expression safe sex has been discarded by many in favor of the more truthful safer sex. Knowing this, if you decide to be sexually active in any form (sexual intercourse, anal sex, oral sex, sexual touching, etc) then you owe it to yourself and your partner to look at ways to have safer s ex. The important thing is to talk about sex with your partner.
