Definition

Redeployee is a new word, coined by businesses such as BT, where an employee's terms & conditions remain unchanged. But the individual has been transferred from their original team to one consisting of others who share the status of being "surplus to requirements”.Usage: The employee was shocked to learn of his being made into a redeployee, he will now have to start applying for a new job in-house.
