(Noun) A number which can be written in the form of p/q where 'p' and 'q' belongs to 'R' and 'q' does not equal to '0' is said to be a rational number.Usage: for example ' the real numbers like 2,5,9 and 5/2 are rational numbers as these nubers can be expressed as p/q.
