(Adjective) the way someone or something has a variety of different colors. the opposite of monochromatic (limited/one in color/black and white).Usage: "You must be magical," said the little boy, "you have polychromatic eyebrows!" I sighed. "No, I was dying my hair and couldn't make up my mind at the last minute. So all those colors spilled into my eyebrows... thankfully, you can only see my eyebrows so vividly. And where did you learn that word?"
