Definitions
(Verb) To rephrase, to say the same thing in a different word or words - usually to make more comprehensible and/or palatable.Usage: Harry Truman, walking through a flower show with Bess, his wife, allegedly kept muttering "Took some good manure to grow those roses." Bess was taken aside and asked if she could get her husband to paraphrase his comments. To use "fertilizer" or something. Bess snorted: "It took me a quarter-century just to get him to say 'manure.'"
