(Noun) Etymology: New Latin, from onomato- + Late Latin mania1: uncontrollable obsession with words or names or their meanings or sounds; especially : a mania for repeating certain words or sounds
2: obsession with a particular word which the person uses repeatedly or which intrudes into consciousness
3: an irrational motive for performing trivial or repetitive actions, even against your will
Usage: "I suffer from a serious case of onomatomania: I'm always repeating the word 'actually' in any sentence I utter."
