Definition
Pertaining to homosexuals or homosexuality. In the 1900, red was the primary homosexual color; in the 1990s, it is lavender and a pink triangle, once used by the Nazis to stigmatize homosexual men, appears on buttons and pins to symbolize gay solidarity. Lavender has long been considered an effeminate color: lavender boy, lavender convention.
