kilt
Definitions
(Noun) A long wrap-around-the-whole-body-if-necessary skirt that Scottish males traditionally, but today only on some ceremonial occasions, wear. In 1500s Scotland, if no Holiday Inn or Sears was nearby, a kilt became a blanket and/or raincoat, as necessary.Usage: Shrug. Monks wear dresses; and Evzones skirts; dhotis, men's sarongs; and so on are commonplace enough in their native countries. So why's a kilt "stupid"?
