Definition
(Noun) A vegetarian "meatball" made of grated (or mashed) vegetable, chopped onion, cilantro, chickpea flour and spice fried in hot oil. They may be eaten as little hors d'oeuvres before a meal, or as a main dish served with rice.Usage: Tonight we ate zucchini kafta in a spicy tomato sauce.
