(Noun) Created bt George Lucas, Jedi are fictional, lightsaber-carrying people in the movies Star Wars. They can be any species, not just human, and are defined by having an excessive amout of 'the Force' inside them. They are mediators, and warriors only as a last effort. They can manipulate the force to move objects, and jump higher than human potential allows them to.
