Definition
1. Or: androgyny , a man or woman who has some of the physical characteristics usually attributed to the other sex. Synonym: hermaphroditism.2. Or: androgyny , the condition of showing some characteristics of both sexes in body, mind, or behavior. Synonym: hermaphroditism.
3. Obsolete in the sense defined by Krafft-Ebbing as a disorder which causes women to forsake their natural sex role and live as men.
