Definition
1. Inflammation of the urethra characterized by a mucous discharge, usually the result of a gonorrheal infection. 2. A pus-like gonorrheal discharge.
Etymology: From the old French glette meaning slime, filth, purulent matter.
3. More rarely, a synonym for gonorrhea. See gonorrhea for synonyms.
