esoteric
Definitions
(Adjective) intelligible to those with only special knowledge(Adjective) difficult to understand
(Adjective) The prefix "eso" is from the Greek, and it means "within". But it does not mean within Man in the sense of one's brain, or liver, or lungs. The term Esoteric was coined to refer to those parts of Man that cannot be perceived by the brain or physical senses.
One's MIND, Soul, and Spirituality are all Esoteric elements of Man that are not capable of being perceived by ones brain or physical senses. The part of Man that can experience the Esoteric parts of Man is the faculty of Intuition, which is a part of one's Spirituality. One's access to Intuition, and thus, one's access to ones Esoteric dimensions is relative to one's level of enlightenment. Or one's level of Spiritual Evolution.
Usage: James thought of his MIND as an Esoteric part of himself that his brain could not perceive.
