(Expression) A yield used for comparing cash flows, expressed as a percentage and calculated as follows:Current yield = Annual interest/Amount paid for the bond,stock or annuity
Usage: The current yield on the bond is 5 percent, while the current yield for the stock is 1.7 percent.
