Definition

In BDSM, covering the eyes of a submissive to cause temporarily blindness for the purpose of increasing the sexual enjoyment of both partners, by increasing the awareness of the submissive's other senses such as touch, increasing the dominant's power over the submissive, and providing the added stimulus of surprise and vulnerability and a sense of the mind being detached from the body. CAUTION: a) Remove contact lenses prior to being blindfolded. b) Mild disorientation occurs after an extended period of blindness and caution should be taken when removing the blindfold.
