Definitions
British usage, since the 19 th century, for sexual intercourse, said of and by males. This is one of many androcentric/phallocentric words for copulation viewed as a form of punishment for women. See copulation for synonyms.(Noun) a flexible band usually leather, plastic, cloth or rope, wrapped around the waist to hold pants or skirt up. May be purely functional, but is often ornamental as well.
Usage: This belt fits well; it is tight enough to support my pants but loose enough to be comfortable.

(Noun) a geographical area that can be classified by some shared characteristic, as in the Bible Belt, or a green belt of woods
Usage: People from the city wanted to make a "green belt" of undeveloped land, so residents could enjoy a swath of wilderness.
