(Expression) Lied to, set up to be taken advantage of. To be cheated by a set up of actions or circumstances that have been deliberately planned.Usage: I was told that the car cost $12,000 by one salesman, but when I came to the dealership the price was now $13,500. To get me on the lot they lied. I knew I had been played.
