Or: asphyxiophilia , a paraphilia in which sexuoerotic arousal and orgasm are dependent on or facilitated by the lack of oxygen produced by self-strangulation or from being strangulated or asphyxiated by a sexual partner, up to, but not including, the loss of consciousness.
