anachronistic
Definitions
(Adjective) 1. From another time and place2. out of place for the time being represented
3.out of date
Usage: Some see the monarchy as an anachronistic institution.
(Noun) representation of someone as existing or something as happening in other than chronological, proper, or historical order
(Adjective) outdated
(Adjective) Technically, "in the wrong time" - like a wristwatch in a Civil War movie - but admittedly I've seen only the "outdated" definition ever actually used - so maybe we have a word-in-transistion on our hands.
