Definition
(Noun) a term in philosophy meaning a metaphysical interpretation of pain. It originates from the Greek for pain: algo and justice :dike.In Peter Sloterdijks book A CRITIC OF CYNICAL REASONING first published in German in 1983 he uses the term in part IV, chapter 9 which is called POLITICAL ALGODICY;CYNICAL COSMOLOGY AND PAINLOGIC.
Usage: The political algodicies work following an elementary plan, you stop being sympathetic and take a hard, cold look at reality.
