Definition
(Noun) An instance of a line of poetry where one or more unaccented initial syllables are dropped. For example, a line of iambic pentameter with a headless iamb in the first foot.Usage: "Now is when I want an ice-cream cone" can be considered a line of blank verse with acephalexis.
