(Noun) A wheelchair spoke guard is a plastic disc that is attached to the wheelchair wheel to keep the user's fingers from getting caught up in the spokes while the chair is in motion. Spoke guards can be made of a clear plastic, or printed with colorful designs.Usage: The child's wheelchair spoke guards had colorful pictures of basketballs on them.
