scupper
Definitions
Early 20 th century Americanism for a promiscuous woman or prostitute, based on the standard sense of scupper, an opening to drain the deck of a ship. See playgirl and prostitute for synonyms.(Verb) To deliberately sink ones own ship, traditionally by opening the scuppers thereby allowing water in.
Usage: I'd scupper my ship rather than let her be taken by the enemy.
