Definitions

(Adjective) The state of having Jesus as LORD of your life.You get saved, by recognizing Jesus as the Son of God, and believing that He came to die on the cross to save us from our sins.
You accept His offer of grace, and realize that you did nothing to deserve it, but that Jesus loves us enough to give salvation to us freely. Then you have to commit your life to Him, and repent (be sorry enough to quit) of your sins. When you are saved, Jesus gives you His Holy Spirit to guide you, and you are also given spiritual gifts to help carry out Jesus' plans on earth. You are guaranteed to go to Heaven, and are included in God's family.
