Definitions
(Verb) To run, or to be running, is to be moving on foot more quickly than a typical walking pace allows, and requires one to increase the distance in the strides between each of the legs as to move forward faster than a walk or brisk walk. Running is generally considered an act for mobility or exercise.Usage: I must run to the bus station because I am running late for work. notice the use of run and running together, though the latter is actually a colloquial expression for falling behind one's schedule, and is not the proper use of the word running in a literal sence. That would be: I was running to the bus station.
