Orthopnea
Definition
(Verb) Orthopnea is dyspnea that occurs while lying flat. Ortho (Greek for flat) and pnea (Greek for breath or breathing). Common among COPD or pneumonia patients whth fluid buildup in the lungs. Hard to breath while lying down.Usage: Sleep dyspnea, is another words called orthopnea.
