Oligopoly
Definition
(Noun) A retail market - worldwide - that is dominated by a few individualsUsage: I find oligopoly in the retail sector as when shopping at the mall prices do not seem to have much variance as shops are owned by the same small group of individuals that dominate the market share and keep prices high to protect their own interest over that of the part pressed consumer.
