MacArthur, Douglas
Definition
(Noun) (1880-1964) Famous American Army general of - you name it - WWI, the Inter-War years, WWII, etc. But by the Korean War MacArthur alternated flashes of brilliance interspersed with failure/lack of success - all permeated by his lifelong arrogance and vanity. Truman finally had it, and fired him.
