Ketamine
Definitions
A date rape drug with an LSD-like effects that can produce amnesia and blackouts. Because its only legitimate use is as a veterinary tranquilizer, possession of Ketamine is illegal in the United States. It is available on the street in either powder, pill, or liquid, and can be snorted, swallowed, or injected directly into the muscle. The effects of Ketamine may only last an hour or less, but a person's senses, judgement, and coordination may be affected for 18 to 24 hours. On the streets, it is known as: Cat / K / Ketaset / Special K / Vetalar / Vitamin K.SEE ALSO: date rape drug.
