Definition
(Abbreviation) Jump Shoot Jump, a tactic found in the tabletop wargame known as Warhammer 40,000 whereby a Tau (faction) Battlesuit moves forward out of cover, shoots its weaponry, and then proceeds to move back behind cover with its free assault move. This tactic is often considered unfair, though nothing in the rules specifically forbids it, and is encouraged by long-time Tau players as a primary method of preserving the otherwise fragile units.
